S.A.V.E. - Surviving Active Violent Encounters

TBD, 2022

This course was developed for the private citizen in response to the all too frequent violent events perpetrated on the unarmed and unsuspecting public. “Active Shooter” events have taken place in schools, the workplace, malls, movie theaters, public meetings and night clubs. Bomb incidents have taken place in government buildings, the Boston Marathon and others.

The two major lessons learned from all these events are this:

  1. The first responders, Police, Fire and EMS, may not be there in time to save you due to their delayed response.

  2. YOU, the private citizen, need to take responsibility for your own safety.
